Feature Suggestions to Improve CAF Play in EA Sports UFC 6
Hello EA Sports UFC team / Community,
I play and follow the CAF ecosystem closely and I’d like to share a set of practical suggestions to make Create-A-Fighter play more rewarding, deeper and more connected across game modes in UFC 6. These ideas are focused on player freedom, authenticity, customization, and community engagement.
Allow Online Career CAF Builds to be Used Everywhere
Let players use their Online Career CAF outside that mode — for example: bring your career CAF into private invites, casual matches, or CAF leagues. This opens CAF play into a new dimension: players keep developing a character that’s meaningful beyond a single mode, creating stronger attachment and more content for streams and communities.
Make Stances Transfer More Unique Animations and Moves
When a CAF adopts the stance of a real fighter (e.g., Wanderlei Silva, Mike Tyson, Conor McGregor), allow the CAF to inherit more of that fighter’s signature movement and strike palette (hooks, lunges, distinctive footwork and tempo). We already have good examples (e.g., Dominick Cruz, Wonderboy). Extending this to more stances increases authenticity and playstyle variety.
Include Walkouts and Presentation When Adopting a Fighter Stance
If a CAF uses a real fighter’s stance, optionally give access to that fighter’s walkout animation and presentation (like in older titles). Walkouts add immersion and strengthen the link between a player’s CAF and the fighter they emulate.
Restore and Expand the In-Game Shop / Customization Economy
Bring back the deeper shop experience (UFC 4 style) with more taunts, outfits, and cosmetic items. Browsing and earning items through play makes personalization fun and keeps players engaged between cards.
Reintroduce Ankle Bands, More Short Colors & Championship Shorts
Small visual items matter. Add ankle bands (aesthetic options like UFC3), increase official UFC short color choices, and return championship-style shorts. These details let players create distinct, recognizable CAFs and foster brand-accurate looks for leagues.
New Haircuts, Facial Hair & Grooming Options
Update the hair and beard library — players have used the same options since UFC 4. More modern and diverse styles improve identity, immersion, and stream/clip quality for creators.
Why these changes matter
They increase player ownership of CAFs and make progression meaningful across modes.
They add authenticity and variety, encouraging distinct playstyles and reducing the “everyone plays the same” feeling.
They support the content creator and league ecosystem: better CAF tools and shop items generate more unique clips, events, and community activity.
Small cosmetic additions greatly improve perceived value and long-term retention.
Thanks for considering these suggestions. I — and many CAF communities — would love to see these kinds of improvements in UFC 6. If it's helpfull, i can be a gamechanger for the caf community, since we don't have one.
