Game Style Settings Not Working In Career Mode Training

Playing on Xbox Cloud Gaming

The settings don't change the training mode, I set the trainers damage to -100% so it doesn't hurt me before the fight. I also set my own damage to +100% so I can level up my skills. However when I go into training these settings don't effect the game. 

I had to head kick the training partner 3 times before I got them to do this with +100% damage setting on. 

I wish there was a mode where we could just have unlimited evolution points so then we wouldn't have to do the boring, tedious & stupid training. It's like punishing people for playing the game.
