Learning triangles from top full mount/bottom full guard bugged (gamepass)

When inviting a fighter to unlock triangles from top full mount and bottom full guard, the game does not recognize that the arm triangle is a triangle, eventually the partner just taps and its over with no new learned moves, waisting my money and week time points.
