No dynamics in grappling
Hello. First of all I want to say thanks for the changes to the striking it looks a lot better. We have the problem of a non-dynamic ground game interferes too much and slows down the game. Takedo...
The level of discussion is impressive. If you can provide at least one argument, please do so. So far, I see only attempts to personally offend me and no constructive input. Until any arguments are presented, I will ignore you, as this level of communication is a waste of time
I've presented arguments to you but you shrug them off with "it's just a game". If it's just a game then play by the games rules instead of begging an aspect you're not versed in to be taken away. And hey props for proof reading your work this time.
"Ah s**t.here we go again". If we're aiming for realism, then after 8 unsuccessful takedown attempts, the fighter should be out of stamina. If realism is our goal, strikes in standing should result in a knockout within 1-2 hits. Fighters shouldn't be able to throw 130 strikes per round and still maintain stamina. But your argument is: "The grappling is realistic, so it's okay. If you don't like it, you just don't know how to play." If we strive for realism, it should be consistent throughout. However, if the game is meant for enjoyment, then consistency should also be key.
@JKexplosion1 @HandsOfGod666 By the way, speaking of me just not knowing how to play and fight. I asked the guy who is number 2 in the PS rating, Ibra-Dom, who had 2945, and he also said that the fighting is too slow and kills the dynamics of the game. The same thing was said by Hexttr, who has a rating of 2400.
Folks, the thread is getting pretty off track at this point.
Locking it down here to avoid further derailing this into additional side arguments, thanks to those who had provided feedback to the issue at hand.
Feel free to create a new thread for this discussion if it can be kept to discussing the game, thanks.
