Why Are We Still Playing With 200ms Ping in 2025? Banned for Avoiding Matches

I know there are a lot of discussions about this, but I just got banned for abandoning games before they started. The reason? My last 5 matchups were all around 200–250 ms. I don’t want to play with that kind of latency. And here’s the thing — this would be so easy to fix. Just add a system where if the ping is lower than 100 ms, match us up. If not, keep searching. I don’t care how long I have to wait — 10 minutes, 30 minutes — it doesn’t matter. I just don’t want to be punished because of high latency.Oh, and by the way, I know EA doesn’t care about this. If they did, they would have fixed it a long time ago. I’ve been dealing with this since UFC 3, and now after two more games, the problem is still here. Nothing has changed. I’m just asking for one thing a ping limit in matchmaking. Please, just once, care about this.

  • I'm fine with anything under 200ms.

150 is perfect still but 250-300 starts getting risky

  • Anything over 100ms ping is not playable as you can't improve your timing for certain things if the ping is anything over 100ms. You can backout on selection screen easily in MMA online mode as you have a reasonable amount of time to choose from different character but you can't in CAF. To avoid this easy is to set up a connection Killswitch in arms reach. Easy way to setup Killswitch is to use ethernet and be connected  through a patch panel next to. Anything over 100ms ping in CAF just pull the cable. Not more laggy wifi players in CAF.
