To whom it may Concern, Currently UFC 5 is unplayable on PS5 for myself and many other users. Either during fighter walkouts or in-between rounds/cinematic replays I receive a minimum two temperature alerts before my system untimely shuts down. I was hoping patch 1.002 would fix this problem however it didn't. I tried getting a refund with Playstation and this is what they informed me"My best recommendation is to contact the developer since we have verified in our end that everything was purchased correctly and that there is not any error with your console since those alerts happens just with this game. It seems is an internal issue with the game and the publisher will be glad to help you since possibly they will need to solve the issues internally with the game."Please look into this. My PS5 is the Digital Version (No disc) and I downloaded the UFC 5 Digital Edition on PSN. I noticed another user had a similar issue; EA_Barry told them to clean their console. However, my console has been cleaned. This issue seems to be software related. Please investigate. Thank you for your time.

I don’t get any warning that my ps is overheating and it also does not feel hot. In order for my ps to start up again I also have to unplug it and plug it in again.Please help.

@EA_BarryThis answer is unacceptable. (See attached) . Unfortunately not a lot of people use these forms to their advantage. There are plenty of complaints from our friends on Reddit. If you count these users myself and @kingcully81 that is OVER 21 people with the same issue. Please look into to this.

I have the same problem but it is not only UFC5 it seems EA games are not working well on the PS5 I would recommend not buying ea sports games that does not have a ps4 version as while game like FIFA play well on the ps4 version I have been seeing overheating sometimes on the ps5 version

So not only does he reply in a passive aggressive manner at first, but when we clearly state it’s NOT the console, he still proceeds to tell us it IS our console and gives us tips of how we should be cleaning it. Who hired you? By the way, still have the same issue months later. My ps5 will not turn off for any other game except for when I play this one.

@yo504boy If this were an issue with the game, there would be loads of posts here about it. Really really cleaning your console is advised, professionally if necessary. Thanks.

You really represent EA? Because that response is ridiculous. No wonder your company is well hated in the community. He is not the only one with this problem. I can't play for more than 3 hours without UFC 5 overheating my ps5. I can play every other game I own just fine except for UFC 5. Like he said there are many threads on reddit discussing many users having this issue. Yall really don't care about your consumers any more, that much is evident. If this doesn't get fixed it's the last EA game a lot of us will purchase.

They don't know what a percentage ratio is. On Reddit, there are 10 times more posts and responses compared to the official EA website.

There are lots of people having this overheating issue I am experiencing this also even with the latest patch ...how can we all have the same issue on the same game ? ....happens during cutscenes, Menus and replays.....and only this game is overheating the ps5 I can play any other more demanding games fine.
Definitely a software issue on the game that EA needs to sort out

Additional points to consider:

If your console is clean, make sure it is stored out in the open with plenty of space behind the console vent and nothing blocking the vent.

Test while not using any surge protector or similar.

This one is a bit of a stretch but other high power appliances like a cooker or clothes dryer can cause a disruption to power that could trip out a PS5. Plug the console power directly into the wall without any other devices or appliances on that plug.
