EA's Greed in UFC 5: Where is the Respect for the Fans?EA Sports continues to show that it cares more about profit than its fans. UFC 5 not only leaves a bitter taste with its relentless microtransactions, but also because it lacks features that made earlier games truly special. Where is the Pride FC mode that was in the older versions? Oh, right, EA didn’t make that one...This attitude proves that EA doesn’t care about the community or the fans' desires. Instead, they focus on in-game paid content and force players to constantly spend money. Rather than providing meaningful content that enhances the experience, EA exploits long-time supporters of the franchise.The removal of the Pride FC mode, which was a fan favorite, is yet another example of EA’s unwillingness to bring back elements that actually improve gameplay—if it doesn’t directly bring in profit, it’s not worth it to them.Fans deserve a game that respects their needs and loyalty. But EA is more interested in figuring out how to squeeze more money out of players than delivering a memorable and valuable gaming experience.
