Several things that are super annoying that nobody is talking about

These things have been super annoying and nobody ever talks about them (they existed in previous games too).

EA needs to fix the horrible issues every IS talking about, but who else would like to see the following items fixed?

  1. Why are we forced to go to mount or clinch when trying to finish the fight in a cage knockdown? What if I have zero intentions of grappling a dangerous BJJ fighter. Don't force me to go to the ground in mount.
  2. The solution to 1 is to either not engage or immediately stand up, but that leads to this annoying item...why is the top fighter "get up" sometimes hold L1/LB + up and then sometimes R1/RB + up? Make it consistent. 80% are L1/LB + up...make that true 100% of the time.
  3. Why does a sway from across the cage drain stamina from a missed swing? If the hitbox (which needs to be majorly reduced) is in range, sure, drain the stamina. But if the opponent is 20 ft away, why is a sway doing anything. Stupid legendary AI will sway and side step no matter what distance you are, and this just tanks your stamina.
  4. Why can you through body-contorting head kicks from clinch distance?
  5. Why did you remove the ability to casually walk sideways from a distance? This was actually a good thing about UFC 4, where if you were several feet away, you could casually walk around the octagon instead of just hopping around sideways.
  6. Why are fight contacts not extended to minutes/rounds/methods? There is an opportunity to play fights as they occurred in real life or what-if moments. What if we played as Vitor and had to submit Jones via armbar for the belt within 2 minutes or something? (Alternate history). Though Undisputed 3 had this basically, so why would it be included?
  7. Why should I be punished in training in career mode (which I can't even stand to play because of how terrible it is) if I choose to have higher stamina drain and more damage [to make fights more realistic]? Score 800 damage + 3 other activities on the heavy bag with larger stamina drain...good freaking luck.
  8. Why can we not switch the voice for an imported career mode fighter? Let us choose from any of the stupid 4 voices when using a UFC fighter.
  9. Just add a freaking title and title defense mode. Shamelessly copy Undisputed 3 and just do it. That is a simple thing to do in terms of game mode, and it would be the easiest job for the most satisfaction.
  10. Allow us to just randomly create CAFs. You randomize them for the beginning of career mode, so it is clearly an internal feature...expose it to us.
  11. People do talk about this...but every single game, why can you not just say the full name of our fighter? First name, nickname, and last name. EA MMA had it, UFC undisputed had it, you give us only template UFC fighter last names that already have audio...you can add template first names that already have audio. Where is the problem here? The assets exist, just do it. And obviously fix the shortchanging Buffer intros too.
  12. If I skip the onboarding in career mode, give me a similar amount of evolution points as if I participated. I get these can come from move upgrades, but in the grand scheme of it, does that really matter? I would just like to be able to have a little bit of a start to my fighter.
  13. Why can I get injured for simulating the rest of a week in career mode if I have zero options for my remaining points? Through some combination, I end up with 5 points left in the week, so I sim to next week and get injured? If no options exist, injury risk should be super low.

I don't care if there are typos. EA can't check their games, I can't proofread my post.

    9. I also cannot understand why they didn't add such a simple mode. It's not like you'll get sued over it. Then again, if they're just going to lock you into the current "real" champion to choose from, there's no point.

    10. Yes. Or let us choose the other CAF's in career. Many look awful, with weird eyebrows and coloured hair. And they almost all have shirts on, which I just don't get. Afaik, nobody fights with a shirt on except a few women.

    As for your career frustrations:

    - Injuries can always happen. If you "simulate" there's always a risk. It doesn't really matter anyway as there's nothing else to spend your money on. It's just drains you of 20 seconds of your time. But yeah... i guess that is indeed annoying.

    - The training bag is sort of a last resort for me, or when I REALLY don't want to get injured before a fight. You're not supposed to do all the activities.

    - The gains from onboarding should be very limited. Just skip less of the sparring sessions if you want to gain those.
