Stamina

The majority of UFC 5 players now just back up and wait for you to enter their range so they can blast combos. And because counter strikes and body punches do little damage, playing the outside game has such a huge advantage. A way to help fix this would be when your backing up and you are being pressured by your opponent who is in at least 3 feet from you (for example) your long term stamina is very slowly reducing. Take Strickland vs Adesanya, Izzy constantly being pressured made him so tired.

the forward pressure to needs to be taxed as well lol walking forward and throwing hooks and uppercuts walking forward isn’t a long lasting style as it some how is in the game.

Going backwards throwing strikes should be taxed aswell but the game right now if they taxed the movement speed backing up would be ridiculous with such a big elephant in the room is forward strike 6 piece combos cost nothing and dodging them doesn’t do much either

Definitely agree with you, counter damage needs a buff, strikes moving forward need a speed buff several other things
