UFC 5 Career Mode Narrative Error

Summarize your bug I am in career mode and when I close out the day, I get the SMS chat screen coming up with Dana White. It says to press X to respond but there are no available options so you can't click respond. I can't continue my career due to this bug.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot continue further in career mode.
What do you expect to see? A narrative option comes up, I select one and then continue.

It will not allow me to continue. There are no optioms to select. It continues to happen.
