Career Mode Crash Error (CE-34878-0)

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 11:00 PM

Which mode has this happened in? Other
Summarize your bug Everytime I try to use my Career fighter and do anything like training, invite a fighter, etc the game crashes and the ps4 shows the error (CE-34878-0) sometimes just trying to pick my fighter crashes it even. I made a new fighter to see if the error would happen for them too, it doesnt happen 100% of the time like with my main fighter but still pretty consistently. I've made sure my ps4 and the game are up to date.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Career Mode
What happens when the bug occurs? The game will freeze for a second then crash.
What do you expect to see? Going into training or a fight

That is a generic error code but the following may help:

Boot your console in safe mode and then choose Option 5, Rebuild Database:

Summarize your bug Can’t spar at all.. immediately after clicking spar(Any kind) I blue screen and get error code.. this literally started happening after your update. I have never blue screened playing this game. I’m 8 fights into the game and this just starts happening. I have the disc copy. I don’t have this problem at all with any other game

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? How would I know smh.. I never had a problem playing this game. Iv had a full week and never blue screened, now all of a sudden you guys update and career is unplayable wtf?

What do you expect to see? Is expect to have something I paid for to work as advertised but apparently that’s too much to ask..

@EA_Barry I've rebuilt database and made sure most recent updates are installed I'm still having the same error happen but am noticing it happen more often when i try to train Muay Thai

@GodHandSuper I've been having this same problem and tried updating everything and rebuilding database but it didnt fix anything

Do you have anything plugged into the USB slot on your PS4?

Do you use an external hard drive?

@TwoFacedPsycho I've seen some weird things happen to games when a device is plugged in. Can you try unplugging that and power cycle your console, then see if it still crashes on you when you play career mode? We'll need to see if we can isolate the issue here and I've seen controller charging docks cause random crashes in the past for some games.

@EA_BlueberryTried unplugging everything and power cycling but no changes, it's only been happening whenever I try to go into career mode for one of my fighters, I dont know what caused it but the error hasn't happened for any of my other fighters recently

@TwoFacedPsycho Hmmm....if it's not happening for other fighters it could be corrupted data for that specific fighter. Was the console unexpectedly shut down during a save when you were playing on that fighter?
