Game Face (UFC 2): Can't create new face

Game Face has had a few problems that have been solved before, so I really don't want to bring up another issue on the subject, however this one is pretty big and annoying.

Right now, it seems to be absolutely impossible to create a new game face. I've created a couple game faces recently, and for the most part nothing has gone wrong, but now every time I upload an image and complete all of the five steps the program tells me it is generating my game face from the new photos I used, but it keeps spitting out the old game face that I made instead.

[I made one character a day ago. I tried to make a new character today (many times). I received the old character every time.]

Here are all of the "solutions" that I have tried that did not work:

  • I cleared my cache completely for my browsers.
  • I deleted the images used for the old character off my computer completely
  • I went through with the game face generation, assuming it could have worked and just not be showing the correct image.
  • I saved after it generated the old face again and then I deleted that face when it didn't work
  • I refreshed the website many times
  • I went back all the way through gender select, which was a "solution" on some forums that I found (using the link provided)
  • I tried stressing the system by using large photos and waiting a long time for every little movement to register
  • I restarted my computer

I'm not entirely sure about how the problem started, but I remember that I didn't delete the old character immediately after downloading them onto my PS4. I wasn't sure if I should delete the face first before closing out of Firefox in case it caused a problem later, but I closed anyways because I figured I was overthinking it. Again, I'm not sure, but that is the only notable thing that I could link the problem to originating from.

Just realized another thing: When I created the old face for the first time, the skin color was too light because the lighting was off, so I had to restart and I used the 'Skin Tone' tab to make the images darker. Those were the only things I was skeptical of doing that I believe could have contributed to the problem.

Really looking for a solution other than 'look at what other people have done and try that,' because that's all I have been doing for the past 2 hours. I've seen a bunch of people who have all had the same problem since 2016, and as far as the replies suggest (as well as my own testing), none of the solutions have worked and the issue hasn't been fixed.

Q: Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue, or is it an interior EA issue that I need to wait to be fixed first?

@ImmovablePanda Just a little update on the issue:
Now when I click delete, the program doesn't even pretend that it deleted my old Game Face like it used to by sending me back to the initial gender select page. Now it just sits there on the old face and doesn't let me click any buttons. The only way to get around that was to manually go the the gender select URL and start over, but still I end up with my old Game Face.

    @jeremy_brown19

Did you eventually get this fixed from your end?

If it's still not working, try clearing the browser's cache to see if that helps and/or try reinstalling either Chrome or Firefox before attempting it again. Make sure you download the latest version of the browser's from their websites so you get the latest one.

Hope this helps, keep us updated. 👍
