Make the next UFC more single player friendly

EA UFC 2 was clearly made with the money making multiplayer in mind and therefore the single player portion has suffered greatly due to this.

You guys have to remember that the vast majority, or the silent majority as I like to say, bought your game for the offline offerings in mind.

The multiplayer gets old quick in the game, it always boils down to spamming the most powerful strikes and grappling positions. After a few weeks I was permanently done with playing this game online.

That's where the problem starts. I want to keep playing this game but the single player offerings are so shallow. Everyone I've talked to agrees that this installment of EA UFC was clearly designed for the vocal minority of online players.

Remember EA, your customers who buy these for the single players aren't nearly as vocal as the multiplayer community. We're not going to get on here and rage every time we lose. There are many more of us than there are them, they are just much, much louder with their complaints.

Thanks for posting. Can you add some detail on how the single player aspect of the game has suffered?

    Please do reply, thanks.

  • One word: Career. This career mode is built to punish the player. Decaying stats, missed training sessions, very poor point returns for fights. I've completed 8 full careers and you can't get much of anything to level 5 before you're forced to retire. 90% of the fights in the career are against CAF's. And my biggest complaint by far: when you complete the career that's it, the retired fighter isn't added to the roster for the other single player modes at all.

I love taking multiple guys through the career then having them face each other in the fight now mode. There's absolutely no incentive in doing multiple careers knowing your fighter basically vanishes into the ether, never to be used again.
