I have now played through a JWRC season and pretty much all the way through a WRC2 campaign and gave noticed undesirable patterns of behaviour in terms of ai competitiveness.For reference I ran 90ai in JWRC and 95ai in WRC2.Main issue is the wildly inconsistent timings of ai competitors. On SS1 (Generally ai's strongest stage) I can be 30 seconds behind and languishing in 25th place or something. On the very next stage I could be 30 seconds up and this pattern continues though generally favouring player rather than ai. I should be really battling ai at 95.Also, when I have been in a close fight with a competitor at the top, they ALWAYS seem to suffer a mechanical break of some kind ruining the battle. I love that issues occur, but they should be significantly less common for the top few drivers so that when they do happen, it's a wow moment rather than a "not agaaain!" Moment. Anyone else experiencing similar?

@RallystuAcknowledged by who ? I have yet to see a post where they acknowledge this bug (and many others).it's silence treatment since first patch that didn't correct much. This is frustrating. I'm getting WRC Generation support vibe and WRCG was a cash grab so I'm not optimistic.Let's not forget the other bug where the game add random times to your stage time during an event.How the * does a game release with such a bug, I mean it's so easy to spot/replicate and the whole game resolve around TIME. It's like if Microsoft released a version of Excel where you can't rely on the results of the cells...

Ive also had this issue. I beat the ai by 2mins in one stage at sweden, winning the rally by 4, even though I had a broken steering rack for the last sector and couldnt go straight without going slow

Yep. Career and Championship in single player are pretty much unplayable (or well can be played, but not competitive what so ever).
First stage of Sweden I lost by 10 seconds. Next I won by 3 minutes. Difficulty set at 95.
AI is random in this game unfortunately, before they fix it.

Yep, I believe it's an easy fix but I too have had that issue where you're in a close fight and suddenly you win a stage by 3 minutes. Frustrating but hopefully not a lasting issue.

I also noticed the same problem with the difficulty set at 100... first special stages very close... then a cosmic vacuum from the competition...
now I wonder...
game highly publicised and expected by thousands of people ...
how can something like this happen?
the money spent in the pre-purchase on the blazon of EA and Codemaster are thrown in the toilet? possible that no one has realized before the launch?

If you try to match the general pace of the Class Leader on affected stages, you'll notice that they run about Regularity-speed. Makes me think that some stages are bugged to run on that mode's pace. But yea, Career and Championship are borked and unplayable as it stands. Gonna create my own championship and hope that it's not afflicted there too.
