- @widdler Do you really use shapes, which can be found in the game, when you write sponsors to the cars. Or how you can use letters? You has done great work with the car liveries.
If I use anything from the generic logos page, it's very rare that I do but I'll give a couple of examples.
The 'R' and 'A' in the Rothmans text (Ascona) are taken from the RGB and AVAX logos respectively. Before I did any more letters I blanked the unwanted parts with a white shape, then carried on, obviously I had to do this 4 times. Same with the 'S' in the Silkolene text on the Metro (hit the decal limit)
Otherwise, everything else is just from the shapes page in-game, no hacks or mods, just a lot of patience. I use photos for reference to get as close as I can.
I just can't bring myself to place generic logos on an IRL livery.
Although I had to on my Martini Focus cos I ran hit the decal limit, I might revisit that one now we have the duplicate and mirror function cos I did that before they were added
Wow, it seems my designs are pretty rubbish comparing to those presented here 😉 I think I need to spend more time on them.
Only if we had similar editor in F1 games as well ...
- @P4st3l1ak I really hope, that creators of F1 game, see how popular this livery editor tool is at WRC 23 and they add same livery editor tool to the F1 24. Also would be fantastic, if we could design helmets with livery editor.
In 2018 i made these on GT sport. Now we are almost 6 years later, and i love doing livery replica's. But i wont be touching the livery editor in this game since its not even half the same quality. real shame.

very nice livery. I hope you enjoy them for a long time, because save files get corrupted quite often in this game (my save profil was corrupted 3 times while playing quick play solo) and my all data just wiped out. I decided that there was no point in doing anything until EA/Codemasters looked into this problem and tried to fix the save issue. Below are just a few photos of my paintings that I lost. I spent many hours on them.
