@ScarDuck14 I also noticed that yesterday evening. Driving is smooth but the replay quality got worse. I often watch replays to see where I lost time or just to enjoy the spectacle.
Yesterday I did a few events at Estonia in the 98 Impreza. There was a lott of stuttering, tearing and low fps issues during the replay. At least we got a great driving experience on PS5, but there is still some room for optimization.
Btw I like what they did with the spectators during night events. The stages are getting more alive after each patch. 👍
I play on pc / tv and when using duplicate screen in windows settings geforce fps counter shows about +120fps and the controls are fine but i have stuttering in tv, no fps drops in counter. Then i change windows display setting to show screen only on tv fps drops to 60 fps stuttering goes less in tv BUT the car is very different / terrible to control and drive. if I change the duplicate screen back. driving feels normal again. wheel is fanatec dd. This was also before this update.

Thanks for the update team. I know you guys are working hard at ironing out the issues :\\)
One question has there been any further inquiry into the fanatec sq shifter calibration reset bug for pc?
Keep up the great work!
P.S. Most of us have already modded the game engine to pre cache the shaders/ niagra etc. Hell if you do a 30 sec google you can find a generic list of engine tweaks that help with performance. Bugs me why they aren't already there!?!
I'm still noticing tearing/stutter in Monte when playing in chase camera view on PS5.
Not sure I agree with improvements in ground cover or draw distance, as I feel like there is still noticeable pop in while playing. Game is still enjoyable, but could still use some polish.
Would love to have the option to have different FOV options for bumper/hood vs chase camera views, improve weather effects (especially snow), and allow sharing of liveries in future update.
Thanks for continuing to work on the game.
- @EA_Groguet I noticed the fps drops by 15-20 when lights on
Hello, problem since update 1.5.1 the Dualsense PS5 does not stop vibrating (only in racing mode) in any mode and surface. My controller reproduces the noise of the engine as some players may have encountered. Even reducing the vibration percentage or stopping it does nothing!!!!
It's not fun to drive at all, it's horrible!! All controller players are affected by this issue.
Before this 1.5.1 update, everything worked correctly.
I hope the problem will be corrected quickly, thank you for your reply.- @Chaosphere89 Same here. Killing FPS is night stage in France #9 and #2. I have to turn of the lights, because i cant drive with lights.
Do something about the snow for God's sake. During the night stage in Monte Carlo, my eyes almost burned out. It is unacceptable that snow in the game is so distracting. Seriously, people with epilepsy can have problems. Moreover, the snow effect still looks more like wallpaper or something applied to the screen rather than a rendered effect in the game world

No stuttering any more on PC either.
And colours also seem more crisp, I needed to tune down the screen, road was just too bright (very likely my screen settings, not a game issue).
Car also feels much better on asphalt, rear on FWD is now sliding and it helps in some turns. Not a velcro feeling I had before.
Well done, Codies 😉
Am i the only person who find less loud EA Sports WRC since the latest patch?
