EA SPORTS™ WRC - Patch 1.9.0 Discussion Thread

Hi Croget.

I have run the game as Administrator with same issue.

Then I have removed completely the game, and made a fresh install, but the problem still remains.

With the new install as Administrator o not, the same issue.

Hi, after the patch, there is no any app to show fps from EA WRC (all other apps working)

- rivatuner (Alt+o) not show the overlay at all

- geforce overlay (alt+z) shows fps n/a

- rivatuner (afterburner) in telemetry (simhub) shows 0fps

- hwinfo shows 0fps

Before update everything was fine. 

my computer blue screens when i go to quit the game. have restarted steam and computer, validated files and still blue screens. never had this issue before. uninstalled and reinstalled, ran as admin and still crashes everytime i quit. is there a way to downgrade to the previous update so i don't have these issues

Never should any game need to run with administrator rights, what admin tasks do you think it should do?

BTW: The last update broke also a lot of standard tools like Afterburner, RTSS, ReShade and also OpenXR needed for some VR Headsets.

After update and AC install I now have a reverse camera view in my right peripheral in VR. It bleeds in from the far right edge and increases the amount visible when I turn my head to the left in game. 

I have tried every car and dang near every stage with the same result.
Ultra everything except mirrors and reflections. I didn’t have any troubles keeping 80-90fps pre update. I’m now running High on everything with not much consistency.

Deinstalled the game!!!! No for kernel based spy software!!!

bye bye EA. This was my last game from EA.

Coming back to the game after the 1.9 patch hoping to see some VR performance improvement with my RTX4090.
But the stupid anti cheat software now prevents the game from launching. I already tried launching as admin, reinstalling the game and verifying installed files.

enlever votre anticheat ça fait buguer le jeu

il ne se lance pas

et on ne peut pu mettre de mods pour améliore le jeu ceci n'est pas de la triche

les mods sont là pour les joueurs pour meilleur visuel mais pas que exemple avoir les vrais livrées sur les voitures de 2024 et pas celle de l’année dernière

même ça vous n'êtes pas capables de nous mettre la bonne saison

et ceci n'est considérer comme de la triche si  on veut avoir un meilleur visuel dans le jeu

du coup je vais retourner sur Dirt Rally 2.0 de chez Codemasters 

vous avez tuer la licence

Same issue here. Game crashing after EA intro movie. Reinstalled/ran as admin/verified files nothing working. How do i roll back patch?
