Very disappointed with EA. The problem still remains, I can not launch the game.
The workarounds I have read in this post have not solved my problem.
I have tried Secure Boot ON and OFF.
I have tried to run as Administrator
I have made a fresh install.
My disk with the game is E, not C.
Until 1.9 and the anticheat, no problem at all.
Please, EA, let me downgrade to the previous patch...or better, fix this problem... and remove the anticheat that nobody has asked for.

The problem is the hard drive... The game must be on C drive!
Welcome in 2024..... people buy SSDs extra for games but no now everybody has to reinstall everything due to a dev incompetence?

I dont wanna be labeled here as an hater but everytime when people post their problems and thoughts there is ZERO reaction from EA.
Game is getting ruined more and more instead bring improvements.

Game does No longer offer VR option since update to version 1.9.0
VR was the only reason I bought the game again.
I really do NOT want Kernel Malware virus on my PC however Steam will not refund me so EA should provide working VR and not release a broken Update.
Surely rhis is a reasonable expectation???
2 weeks and still no fix yet for a problem thats been documented from at least october of last year and no fix in sight obviously. Great work ea!

First it did not want to start and i could only reboot.
During that boot i got a BSOD.
Uninstalled.
Haven't seen crap like this in some time.
Button mapping bug still broken

And now the game is on sale for 15 Euro.... 10 months after release.
So there is even no attempt to "repair the big mistake (great anticheat stuff)" but just to milk the cow in the agony state...
Thank you that my money (45 Euro) was grabbed and thats all now.
Bought on release to support WRC niche franchise.....
