We get "Anti cheat"....
Conclusion:
Will uninstall an reaffirm the belief that buying ANYTHING EA will bring regrets...
Not even Codemasters was able to bring sanity to this company
It's the same conclusion for me. Unfortunately EA seems not interested to bring a good game to the market and develop it further on.
A lot people (unfortunately I'm one of them) praised the decision to change the developer of the WRC game from Kylotonn to Codemasters ... now I really regret this.
BTW: I think a company which has in every game bugs has probably the same problem with their EA anticheat software. Just search for "EA anticheat problems" you will find a lot of threads.
I do not consent to giving Codemasters and EA this level of control over my PC. This was not a thing at launch and releasing it this late is borderline illegal.
No one likes cheaters, but surely there are other ways to circumvent them.
i blacklisted EA games when they started pulling games from other platforms and we had to use the crappy origin BS. With F1 23 and this one, i decided to give them a second shot. Well, lesson learned. If you move forward with this you'll never see another cent from me again...
And then you wonder why people pirate... Remember that turning a seasoned pirate into a paying player is hard, but it is possible if the game is good, and at the right price... Losing a paying player to piracy though, is much much easier... Just do stuff like this...
