Just learned about this today. A game that i paid a lot of money for when it was not disclosed that this anticheat would be introduced will effectively be stolen from me because i only play on Linux. Fantastic! Is this even legal? People are sending complaints about Ubisoft stealing games and this is similar, though less egregious. I live in the EU and I would love to send a complaint but I don't know if their eula covers their *. I'm fine with them adding this anticheat to new games, I'll just avoid them, Most of their games arent great anyways, but adding this retroactively is simply unacceptable. This is the second game they stole from me.
I tried requesting a refund through steam but it was rejected with no explanation. I would recommend everyone affected by this requests a refund, we need to send the message, just like the Helldivers community did.
