How to own the game WRC beyond the free trial?

Hello everyone,
I recently tested this new opus via the free trial offered by EA Play.
I liked it, more than WRC Generation and perhaps more than DiRT4, which suited me perfectly. I'd like to go on and buy the game, but I'm not sure whether to play it on console - Xbox Series - or on PC.
My question is as follows: if I buy it from the Microsoft Store, a discount applies because I'm an EA Play member (by extension to my Xbox GP Ultimate subscription), I could a priori play it on console, but could I launch the game from the EA application on my computer?
I'm well aware that there's no cross-platform progression, but I don't care.
Conversely, if I continue a purchase from the EA app on my computer (at exactly the same price, benefiting from the same discount), will it be playable on a console that shares the same EA profile extension?
