PHYSICS issues

Your topic is probably about Dirt Rally 2, not new WRC, because all of these problems are DR2 problems fixed in EA WRC.

Cars have proper weight now, playing on the wheel you can always feel their weight and that you are planted to surface, no more floaty handling, especially at high speed, like in DR2.

And everything is good with grip levels in this game. All this negative comments come probably from DR2 players used to this silly slide everywhere grip levels from DR2. You think that all those powerslides on tarmac that you can see in real life WRC replays and onboards come from low grip levels? NO. They come from drivers skill. IRL cars with proper tires have high grip level on tarmac and its not like in DR2, that you just turn your wheel on tarmac and you are starting to slide. You must know how to make car slide, how to force the car by proper weight shifting to lose grip and put it into slide and all of that can be done in new WRC if you know how to do it.

One thing that should be adjusted is that grip levels on tarmac are to snappy, regaining grip in the middle of the slide should be more gradual, now its to snappy.

The physics model does not have a centre pivot. One youtube video from someone does not make this the case. The cars have four points of contact like a real car and have done for many years. 

FWD cars feel pretty much exactly as I have experienced irl. There's no issue there. RWD there's some issues that need to be ironed out but FWD feels darn accurate.

Left foot braking does induce rotation in correct situations, this is likely a skill issue. Maybe adjust brake balance if its not enough for you.

You say there is too much grip and then describe the physics as floaty?! 

On Tarmac there's a little too much grip in some situations, mostly longitudinal as I feel lateral grip is pretty much there. Gravel is perfect, though I think older cars should have older tyres simulated better.

Once more, centre steering is not a thing, get it out of your head, it's nonsense, it's demonstrably false.

These posts crack me up.  Half the internet watched one guy's video about DR2.0 physics and took it as fact, even though it's been disproven that the cars pivot around a center axis.

Pivot point should not be fixed on any axle!!!! That's a stoopeed idea
(just remember a car can be both understeered and oversteered due to a given situation....)

Front wheel drive cars on tarmac - when you pull the handbrake in a tight corner, the car turns as if the front wheels have changed to castors on a shopping trolley which is quite alarming. 

Go take a real fwd car and go to a local logging road and give eawrc skills a test if you push the same way you do in game in real life you will find out quickly how poorly it handles if you are a good driver I'm sure u will naturally adjust them u will feel how a real car is. Who knows if u try it n like it u may just want to put some rally suspension and gravel wheels on your real car. I'm not looking to bash on the game I'm just hoping the enthusiasts at code masters implement a more realistic physics system or tweak their current system to be better hope u have fun rippin some gravel in a real car good luck

Why are players defending this game?  It's a cheap knockoff of dirt 2 on a different engine with worse graphics how is that possible!!
