I also uninstalled today, and will not be buying more EA rally games/DLC.

EA had a chance to listen to the backlash and not include kernel anti cheat into the update. They included it anyway. The PC playerbase has a right to be mad, because many of them who were otherwise willing to tolerate a rough launch window have now been hoodwinked, bamboozled, lead astray, run amok and flat out deceived by this stupid company that willingly leaves PC money on the table just because they can. EA WRC could not afford another reason for people to avoid it after all of Unreal Engine's teething issues and the career mode problems that took a couple of updates to fix.
Now there's a good chance it's a dead game, and that's bad news for rally fans as it means Codemasters doesn't get to work on a sequel, Dirt Rally franchise dead, EA repurposes the team to work on the next Need for Speed because that's where they think the money is.

I bought every year the new F1 game since the beginning. Because the new anticheat is on kernel level this years F1 24 will be the last i have bought. What was EA thinking when including kernel anti cheat and so disrupting and intervening in every ones security???
