My computer blue screens when i quit the game after the newest update.

Game loads and plays but when i hit quit game, the computer immediately blue screens then restarts. says kernel apc pending exit i believe in the corner. never had issues with the game like this before until this newest update. have ran as admin, validated files, uninstalled and reinstalled and still blue screens my computer. is there a way to downgrade to a previous version so i can play without my computer crashing

  • Horrendously bad quality control for this game. It needs serious investment in stability.

  • Exactly this. Consumer isn't responsible for the game or application to be compatible with well known other software which are required to keep playing instruments working as they should ESPECIALLY when other games do work with ASUS's eg fan controls...

It _really_ is for EA and COdemaster thing to be fixed with or without ASUS as THEY both are providing software which isn't working on their customers computers _without_ any disclaimers anywhere messaging on any update that "this game doesn't work with ASUS's code" and vice versa.

@EA, if you don't know how yourselves, ask ASUS if they could give you and Codemasters some code technical assistance. 😏

  • this is a bump because even after this update, it still blue screens my computer. i shouldn't have to turn off my fan controls for my computer to run the game, kinda need em to keep my computer cool while playing said game. lol finally get a reply and ea basically says its my problem not theirs. funny i had zero issues until the 1.9 patch. ea=trash company

I also encountered the same problem, and through browsing past problem posts, I found that this issue is related to EA's anti cheating mechanism.
If you use an Asus motherboard, then it's the same as mine.
The light effect control software and fan control software of ASUS motherboards conflict with EA's anti cheat mechanism at the kernel level.
The current solution I am using is to uninstall Asus related software.
In the past, other EA games have encountered this issue, which can be resolved by modifying the registry of ASUS related software. However, it can also affect the normal use of ASUS related software.
