Saved Car Tunes Default to All Sliders Left

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug All my saved car tunes are defaulting all sliders left except for Alignment, where the Toe sliders are default (0 degrees) in the middle, and camber is far right (0 degrees). Not sure if this is a result of following the direction to "Remove Content and Continue" from "Content Not Installed" message after launching game on official release day when previously playing in pre-order early access.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Review any saved tuning presets from pre-release? Not sure. Presets worked before Official release.
What happens when the bug occurs? All my saved car tunes are defaulting all sliders left except for Alignment, where the Toe sliders are default (0 degrees) in the middle, and camber is far right (0 degrees).
What do you expect to see? The settings I have manually selected and saved for each section of the tuning menu.

Happened to all of my tunes including WRC1 (GR Yaris), WRC 2 (C3 / I20), Early 2000 (Citroen C4), 2017 WRC (VW Polo) and more Cars. Again, this isn't the game resetting the tune to default, All Sliders are either far left, or right, with Toe Angle being the only exception going back to the default of 0 degrees.

Use different file names for each car. For example use I20_, YAR_ and PUM_, as a prefix before each save. This works for me. Each save must have a different file name.

  • I too have had this bug since my first playthrough.

This bug is the most serious of the various bugs, and I believe it must be resolved as soon as possible.

This is because each player takes time to create and save settings, but that effort is wasted. To avoid this, all values must be recorded and saved on a separate medium.

Furthermore, if you run into a bug, you'll have to reset everything to its defaults one by one. This is a simple but tedious task since you cannot restore all items to default in one go.

Codemasters should prioritize preventing this bug from occurring.

Ok, this only works if you don't save the setup again. Let's say you save your SKO_SAR setup, (Skoda, Sardinia), and this works when you return to the stage. However, if you decide to change a value and save the setup again, when you try to load it in the future it will be compromised.
You should delete the setup each time, and save it again, even with the same name.
It's still a bug, but you can try doing this temporarily.
