Are there any Informations about the release of the VR mode?

VR support will come at a later time but it's currently only planned for PC. We will announce further information about it once it's time!

When will they fix Varjo OpenXR?
I was able to run it in native OpenXR prior to 1.9, with better performance.
Start SteamVR, open Settings throuhg SteamVR status window (on desktop, not in VR), goto OpenXR tab and set SteamVR as default OpenXR environment. Now You should get popup asking if You want to run game in VR.
If you using Quest headset then check in Oculus App and be sure that there is OpenXR enabled. Can't remember right now but probably you find it under the " General " or something like that. For me I have had several times that it goes disabled somehow and then the game don't give you vr beta version.

There are different threads on this forum for different headsets that will help you figure out how to get the VR prompt again
- @Misviga Good afternoon, since the July update that was supposed to fix VR things it doesn't work for me, it doesn't even give me the option to switch to VR like in the Beta version, do I have to do something to be able to play?
It is unfortunate that in the year we live in these things happen and they release games that are not finished due to the rush.....
Grateful if anyone can help me It's deffinitely not about hardware because all other games run smoothly and good visuals. It's just optimization issue from developers and if they can't handle UE engine or UE engine don't allow to optimize the game for VR then they shouldn't add DLC in future instead they should choose another engine which allows good VR optimization and long stages.
For *'s sake we live in 2024 and we play PS2 game in VR mode, even with RTX 4080 Super and I7 14700F
Today you have to offer for players a good VR and proper triple screen support but they only " fixing " minor issues and bugs.
I don't think it's worth trying to play this in VR right now. There either needs to be another patch, or we need to wait until we own 5090's and Core Ultra 9 285K's, but even then I'm not holding out hope because of the Unreal Engine.
Yes VR mode is what lot of players want but seems like you guys still can't make it work on UE engine ! ☹️
