Ash Dash passive kills all momentum and freezes her mid-air

Certain sequences, such as initiating a direction change Dash from a slide-jump lead to Ash simply freezing in place and dropping back to ground. It looks to me like this could be an unintended consequence of the code changes for what are otherwise very sensible balance changes that were made to Ash reducing her velocity when changing directions with with a Dash.

It seems like this would impact players who use a controller for input significantly more than those who use KBM for input.
