Crashing and disconnects - Under investigation

Im having this same issue too... I cant click anything but keyboards and forced to shut down the apex and restart again to play. This happens when i leveled up. Even worse, i cant shut down the app through any method and forced to restart my pc. Its not ruining the gameplay (This only happens after a gameplay ends) but i have to restart every single game after leveling up. I hope this information helps and fixes soon.

Same for me - random crashes. Anywhere in the game. But seems to occur more often in ranked BR.

Do not know if relevant, but seems to start happening after switching to NVMe instead of an SSD disk.

Thanks, I have added these launch options in steam and the game doesn't seem to crash anymore. 

hello i also forgot to say that for me personally, the game sometimes crashes instantly when i come in the lobby and sometimes i crash after joining the firing range after maximum 1min. I cant join a normal match. Thx for your in advance

Hello i have the same issue as OP does and im running a 3080 10gb and i9 10850k, so no Hardware problems and i tried adding the launch option but it didnt work for me pls help i want to play😁

The Apex team is investigating this issue.  Could you assist with the following, please?

Is there anything that seems to trigger the crash?  For example getting shot, or healing, or interacting with anything on the map,...?

Can you add the following launch options to Apex Legends within Steam?  You can do this by opening the Steam library, right-clicking Apex Legends, clicking properties and pasting it in there.  This will make some changes to the game and will help us troubleshoot the issue.

it is pretty funny, on the first day of update, my game is fine. After I bought the new r99 skin, at the night of the same day, the game started crashing and freezing, I cannot even get into the fire-range.

After the latest Apex Legends update in November 2025, my game fails to run properly.

I could go into the lobby for like 30 second, but the game is really lagging and freezing, then after like 30 sec, the game crash and this appear.

Then I click continue and try to get back into game. It cannot connect to EA server. 

After I retry to get back into the game, it continue keep freezing and lagging. Then after a while, another error crash me out of the game.

The fix I have tried: Full file verification and repair(steam), Updating all drivers for graphics card and system, disable my anti-virus software(ESET), Completely restarting my system, uninstall all my other anti-cheating software, open apex as administrator, re-install apex. But none of these helped.

My hardware: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950x, RAM: 64gb, GPU: Nvidia 5080, window 11 Pro, 25H2, SSD: 2 4T SSD, apex installed in C drive with 1.58T remaining, Geforce driver version: 581.80.

For me it also keeps crashing in-game, since the season 27 release.
