DDOS resulted in me getting abandonment penalty

I played 3 ranked match’s all 3 pred lobby’s just absolutely getting smashed by someone ddosing. The second match I get disconnected and after the third match I get hit with an abandonment penalty from my second match. How is that even possible. How can I rectify this issue that is completely out of my control in every way shape and form. Console lobby’s are absolutely atrocious in every aspect apex just leaves console to hang out and dry every single day it’s sickening because more than half of all apex legends player base is on console but we get the short end every time. People run around and blatantly cheat and abuse the servers with no real consequences. No wonder this game is slowly dieing and people are transitioning to other games that are better taken care of by their developers. Sad.
