no heirlooms shards after 500 packs

Its likely that you have made a miscalculation on the Apex pack count, as the granting of shards is guranteed and automatic on the opening of the 500th pack.

There's no manual way to check the count atm.

I keep a manual count on a note on my phone, currently 210 of the 500.

I'd also like to add on to what Creeper has said.

Keep in mind that Collection Event Packs do not count towards the 500 pack count for getting an Heirloom. So if you were counting these packs as well, that might explain why you would be off by a bit.
