Ping says 24ms then shoots to 300+

How do I fix the ping, I have 10ms to 30ms on the first menu screen then on the second main game menu it shoots up to 200+ I get into games fast but then it shoots up even more to 500+ while in game I get an error with dots  and 3 other error. The only way iv seen the ping go down to   Is when I press the windows key but I can’t play the game and when I click back in to the game it shoots back up again to 500+ 

I have good internet and I pick the closest server which it’s usually 10 to 30 ping and this only happens when I play apex legends and I'm also connected by ethernet. So idk why it’s happening. how do i fix it
