Strange FPS decrease over time

I have a rtx 2060 and an intel i7-10750h and to clear things up nothing is overheating. I have this issue where when I enter Apex everything is fine at 144 fps but the longer I play the more it drops. The strange thing is it drops in increments. At first its stable 144, then 120, then 90 and eventually goes to 45 fps and doesnt go lower. This means I cant play for more than 10 minutes before the game isnt fun to play. This doesnt happen on any other game as the issue is just on Apex Legends.
