FYI Skeytik and anyone else following this, my last crash was 2 or 3 days ago and Ive played a few hours in that time. I had decided to reset all my CPU underclocking (i9 13900K cooling workarounds) as it had made no difference to stability in BF6. I defaulted the bios back to a non-performance option and rebooted. Somehow, OC genie (an automatic overclock utility) ran. Now I didn't deliberately try to run it so I don't know how or why it launched. When my PC rebooted, steam also downloaded a patch to BF6. Since that patch / OC genie event BF6 has not crashed once.
I can't tell you what stopped the crashing; the bios settings or the patch. However if you are still crashing, and you have an auto OC utility maybe give it a shot?
If I hear crashing is still happening I'll dig a bit into the bios changes OC genie made because its done something good... I just wish I knew what it was.
