A strange beeping sound since the 1.1.1.0 update
Hello, since the update I’ve been hearing a strange beeping sound during gameplay. It’s present in almost every round and sometimes happens repeatedly in quick succession. What is this sound?

I noticed it. It happened randomly all of sudden every couple of sec sometime minute. i have no idea where the sound come from. i have no gadget or anything around me when it happened.

It's quite annoying to hear it every 2 seconds, and way more annoying to ignore its meaning or purpose.
Ya not talking about the 'suppression noise' when a snipers bullet wizzes past ya are ya? (Thats what I hear in the video above).. ?
Yes, that is the sound.
The sound at 0:04 after the sniper suppression noise. just click on the video loading bar at 0:04 and play it over and over you will hear it lol.
Yes! This has been driving me crazy! Some matches I won't hear it at all and others it is absolutely incessant! There doesn't seem to be a consensus on what it could be. I've heard maybe it is alerting you that you're triggering a Recon's proximity sensor perhaps? Whatever it is, I really need a way to turn it off.
I hear a beep while sitting in the spawn menu. Maybe it drowned out during gameplay.
Commenting so I can follow the thread. Started hearing the beeping tonight as well. It's the same beep as in the video that was posted.
I am also having this problem. Tonight it was especially bad/frequent while I was at the spawn select screen. So it can happen regardless of whether you have deployed/spawned.
