Attachments for guns not unlocking.

I play on Xbox series S. I noticed yesterday whilst running support class in a game of conquest that my weapon progression was no longer unlocking attachments. Im using the first LMG, I think its the M110 or something. I had been waiting to get to progression level 28 to unlock a specific long silencer. At the end of the day I checked my progression to find i had advanced to level 32 but the silencer remained locked, still stating that its a level 28 unlock. I removed all my other attachments to check that it wasn't just because I had no space for it but it remained locked. Im very confused.

Also why can't I put unlocked attachments on my pistol? It fully doesn't allow me too.
