Battle pass bug

I bought tiers in the battlepass with the intent to buy the mini scout. However, once I purchased the tiers they applied to the "active" path and not the path that I was purchasing tier skips in. I was not even aware that you had to activate path's as this was on day one within the first hours of seeing the battlepass. Feels a lot like a bait and switch. I recorded a youtube video showing this occuring. Would love some support from EA on this..
