I have yet to receive the 6 hour double xp weapon and the 6 hour double xp level for this issue, only have the ones I unlocked and got with my purchase

Still nothing received. Pre-ordered phantom edition via the EA app. Couldn't play at all the night of release?
Reached out to support and got a canned response? No message received in game or via email about said promised rewards. - dirty1337dan3 months agoNew Spectator
I refunded the game and bought it on steam instead, because I couldn't play. Now I got no pre-order bonus and no compensation...

Sounds good, but haven't got any compensation yet... see a lot who have received their compensation. so, is it underway or?
- NoizyBoom3 months agoSeasoned Spectator
I haven't gotten anything at all despite being one of the impacted players. Did you mess up the deployment of the compensation as well?
- VimVamDeVom3 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
What about those that pre purchased through the EA app but then cancelled and purchased through steam because we couldn't get access? I waited over 4 hours for a solution before doing this so were people like me not impacted too? Genuine question, so no abusive replies please.

Hey everyone!
The team deployed a resolution for the issue that caused players on the EA app to be unable to start game modes due to missing DLC/content.
Additional statement from the Battlefield team:Players impacted by yesterday’s EA app outage will now find their XP Boosters delivered to their in-game mailbox and XP Boost inventory.
To see your XP Boost inventory, on the main menu, select "Training Grounds" and select "XP Boost" in the top-right menu.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through this! - bootsmann343 months agoNew Spectator
I solved this issue! Just empty your EA-App Cache, thats it!!!

Fixed for me. Thanks!!

Exactly the same for me. Contacted ea support and basically told nothing they can do, game failed to work on ea app, my friends were on Steam and I didn't want to miss out so refunded and bought through Steam.
Why do ea always have problems with battlefield launches so badly. They can see your pre order date, your preloading, and your log in on launch day to the app, the times you re started the game and the linked account on Steam.
They have everything they need to make it right because of the issues THEY had, not us or even on Steam.

I just want to add to this that I refunded and bought through Steam so I could play through friends - lost my pre-order bonuses yet paid £10 more and I bet I won't earn any of the offers EA have sent out due to this issue.
If any admin could direct message me for a follow up that would be great.

I bought phantom addition on steam and didn’t get the tier skips or phantom dlc. Good job EA at winning over COD players lol

Hi everyone, it seems a lot of people encountered this problem yesterday, I am one of those.
fortunately, I have found the SOLUTION, I hope it solves the problem for most of you and enjoy the battlefield with me:
PREMISE
I have purchased the game on EA app and got the same issue. To solve the problem, as steam seamed to work, I thought of this, here is a breakdown:
1. Download Steam
2. Log in or create a new account
3. Go to the EA website and sign in to your EA account. You may need to sign out and sign back in using the "sign in" option.
4- Click the profile icon, then select "Account Settings"
5- From the left-hand menu, click on "Connections". Find "Steam" and click "Link".
You may need to verify your identity by entering a code sent to your email.
6- Sign in to your Steam account and grant EA permission to access your information by selecting "allow" or "link accounts". I did it in a rush moment so it may be different step but I think EA website did it automatically explaining what to do, it’s very easy
7- Once you have done that, go to the steam app,
Open Steam and go to your Library.
Click the "Add a Game" button located in the bottom-left corner of the window.
Select "Add a Non-Steam Game" from the pop-up menu.
A window will appear with a list of programs. Find your game in the list and check the box next to it. IF you don’t find the game, as it happened to me, just browse EA Launcher, add this .exe to library by clicking “Add Selected Programs" to add the exe file to your library.
NOW, just click play on the EA Launcher from from the library steam, EA app opens immediately and now press PLAY next to battlefield.
See you on the battlefield you guys!!! - Clean_Shot933 months agoNew Spectator
