BF6 Account Sync Issue? Progress Without Playing

Hi everyone,
I’ve run into a strange and frustrating bug with Battlefield 6 on Steam that’s affecting my progression, stats, and loadouts; even when I’m not playing.

Here’s what’s happening:

• My account gains progression while I’m offline.
• My loadouts change to weapons I’ve never used.
• My K/D ratio drops unexpectedly.
• Time spent in game modes I haven’t played increases.

I’ve already taken the following steps:

• Changed all associated passwords for Steam and EA.
• Logged out of all devices.
• Verified that no new logins have occurred.
• Confirmed with friends that my account never appears online during these periods.

Despite all this, it seems like someone else’s gameplay is somehow syncing to my account. It’s not just cosmetic—this affects my challenges, stats, and overall progression. As a competitive player, I work hard to earn achievements and optimize my loadouts, so logging in to find things changed or degraded is incredibly frustrating.

I contacted EA Support and they filed a report, but couldn’t offer a solution since this isn’t a known issue. They recommended posting here in case others are experiencing the same thing or have insight.

If anyone has seen something similar or has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. This feels like a backend sync issue or account misrouting, and I’d love to get it resolved.
