Character Spawns are incorrect, Can't use the new Skins.

I pre-purchased the Phantom Addition of Battlefield 6.  Pre-Release of Season 1, the Support Class only had Female Characters selectable, there were No Selectable Male Characters for this Class.  

After the Season 1 Update, I can go to the Support Loadout and select a new Male Character named Brodie, everything seem fine until I spawn into a game and My Character has been switched back to the Female.  Has this happened to others, is there a way to fix this, is this known issue that EA/Battlefield is looking into?
