Ideas
This is not speculation or a random guess.
Multiple users have verified that Javelin Anti-Cheat shows a CPU usage spike only when pressing the specific keyboard keys that cause stuttering at that moment. Mouse movement alone does not trigger it, and idle gameplay does not trigger it.
Key observations:
The affected keys change between game launches.
The issue happens immediately on launch, not after prolonged play.
Different keyboards, mice, USB controllers, polling rates, and clean OS setups have been tested.
Closing overlays, RGB software, RTSS, Afterburner, Discord, Steam Friends, etc. does not resolve it.
Temporary workarounds (holding ALT, pressing keys on launch) alter the behavior, which strongly suggests an input state / validation issue, not a rendering or network problem.
This rules out:
Faulty peripherals
Drivers
USB instability
GPU or CPU bottlenecks
What remains consistent across all reports is that the stutter is tied to discrete keyboard input events processed at a low level. That strongly points to an issue in the input handling path, most likely involving the anti-cheat layer.
We are not asking for an immediate fix. We are asking for acknowledgement that this issue is known and being investigated, because at the moment all Battlefield titles are effectively unplayable on mouse and keyboard for many players.
