did i get rubberbanded or what?

I was playing RedSec with my friend in duo mode. I killed a guy near the edge of the zone and then quickly ran away because the zone was only 6–7 meters away from hitting me. I got about 20+ meters away, and then suddenly the game rubberbanded me back and showed I died to the zone. After that, I could still spectate my teammate without any issues.
