Interesting. I am on EA app and felt this for sure, but after i chose Nvidia DLSS preset F in the Nvidia APP (which is older DLSS version 2.something without framegen support), my game felt so much better, especially with DLSS enabled. I'm not sure if this is related to framegeneration or DLSS Transformer model being terrible on older 30-series Nvidia gpu:s, but you'd think an RTX 3090 would still benefit from DLSS Transformer model, but my game feels like **bleep** with it. By changing the preset to the older ones, my game feels a lot better, even with no upscaling.
Yeah I suspect this is because with the newer model that supports Frame Gen, you were actually able to disable Frame Gen completely. So since you selected that older model you don't have Frame Gen randomly turning on. I suspect if this gets fixed you could switch back to the newer transformer model and receive those benefits without it feeling like a poop.
