Same for me. It's quite annoying, because everytime FG kicks in it adds input delay. Since it's always turning on, then off again etc. the input delay fluctuates all over the places. I hope this issue gets enough attention.
*edit* While testing around with all kinds of different settings I noticed a few things:
- No matter what settings I choose, FG only turns off when I disable Reflex in game and remove my frame cap in the Nvidia App, even with VSync enabled. (Usually my settings are: 138fps frame cap, Vsync on, Reflex on (+Boost) if available in the game. With these settings FG will always kick in in BF6)
- VSync seems to be broken in BF6. No matter if I set Vsync on in the Nvidia App or in game, my fps are NOT capped at the monitor's refresh rate. Usually VSync caps the fps. In BF6 somehow it does not. With VSync on I get >170fps on my 144Hz monitor - that's not how this is supposed to work lol. However, as soon as I alt tab out of the game (I'm using borderless fullscreen), the fps are capped at 144. Really strange behavior. If I go back to the game the fps will exceed the monitor's refresh rate again.
On a side note:
BF6 is the only title I know of that is able to use FG without cutting the fps in half (FG 2x) or quarter (FG 4x). That's quite literally what I've always wanted FG to be - dynamic, that doesn't reduce my base fps and is just used to fill in frames to meet a frame cap or the refresh rate of the monitor. I really hope this isn't just a weird bug, but an actual feature we will see in the future and in other games as well. That would be absolutely fantastic, expecially in singleplayer games.
Assuming it really is FG we're seeing here, and not just some strange bug or display error.
