Gadgets not unlocking after completing challenge

I went to go and equip the smoke launcher on my support class to get support assists for the support 3 challenge, however the smoke launcher is still saying i need to complete support 1 to unlock it. I haven't checked to see if this is happening with other gadgets yet, though I will do so now
