Game Crashes to Desktop on Campaign Start

Thank you so much! I finally got the single-player campaign to work.
Closing the EA app fixed the issue. I have the game on Steam, so I don’t really need the EA app running in the background.
This does not work at all for me, still just crashes, EA app not running.
Try completely exiting out of steam and then right click the icon to launch it as an administrator and then try running BF. I think the campaign closes the launcher and launches a separate campaign application but needs admin permission first. I know black ops 1 and mw2 do the same thing for campaign vs multiplayer mode
Dark_Assassin925 unfotunately that did not seem to make a difference. Still just closes out back to desktop, nothing launches.
