Ideas
I bought this game primarily for the campaign.
Multiplayer runs perfectly, 60fps at quality settings.
Launching the campaign through the difficulty menu or clicking "start mission" will casue the game to freeze, and then crash with absolutely no error message.
Game is purchased through steam.
I have tried:
Reinstalling
Verifying game files
Disabling Single Player HD Textures & Verify
Disabling Multiplayer Marker/ HD Marker & Verify
Disabling all overlays (Nvidia and Discord
Adding exception in antivirus (windows defender) for battlefield exe
Game's been out for days now, and still nothing. Really really disappointed, I don't want to play more multiplayer, as if I can't get the single player to work I'll just refund it.
I've attached my dxdiag too.

I'll also add that I've tried modifying many in-game settings (V-Sync, modifying quality settings from low to high and mid). This hasn't changed anything, the crash happens in the exact same way every time:
Game freezes
Audio freezes
Audio comes back, game unresponsive,
Game crashes with no error message. - wildmustacheride12 hours agoNew Rookie
Buying a BF game for the single player is wild..

wildmustacheride People like games for different reasons! Don't get me wrong, Multiplayer is fun, well-made, I just think I prefer other things.
I like a cinematic campaign, I like seeing how bad (or good?) the campaign is in these newer games. The gunplay is fun, I like shooting **bleep** in single-player, and I'm willing to spend some money to experience it!
Had a lot of fun in The last of us multiplayer back in the day, and I knew some friends that didn't really like the game, and only played the pvp stuff. I never thought it was wild that they found more enjoyment out of a different (less focused) part of the game!
