3 days agoHey everyone,
Thanks for continuing to share your reports about the campaign crashing on launch issue.
We’ve recently identified a possible contributing factor:
It looks like some antivirus programs may be falsely detecting the single-player executable and blocking it from running.
Please try the following:
- Check your antivirus software to see if it has flagged or quarantined the single-player executable.
- If so, add an exception / allow list entry for the game’s single-player .exe file and then try launching the campaign again.
This has helped a few players get back into the game immediately.
Additionally, if you’re still experiencing the crash even after adding an exception, it would really help us if you could reply here with:
- The name of your antivirus software (e.g., Windows Defender, Avast, BitDefender, etc.)
- Whether or not adding the exception resolved the crash
Thanks again for your patience and for helping us track this down!

Nope not working. Windows Defender. Updated all drivers, turned vsync on/off and multiplayer is working fine. Thx for helping!
