Game Crashes to Desktop on Campaign Start

Same issue. Instead of loading single player, when chosen from the menu, the game just closes. No error messages. Going through difficulty selection works, but not 100% of the time.
I am using Bit Defender for my antivirus. I was able to resolve the issue by adding both the bf6.exe in the main directory, and the .exe with the same name in the SP folder (which I assume is the single player?), into exceptions.
