Game won't launch after update

Since the first update after release, my game no longer launches. It gets past the initial EA launch screen but not past the black screen that comes after it, when the game itself opens. Instead of getting to the loading screen with the logos, it just closes. My drivers are up to date and I've tried reinstalling the game, restarting my PC, and verifying the game files. It was working just fine before the update, so I'm thinking something broke.
