Incendiary shotgun won't equip after unlock

After doing the challenges for assault i finally got the incendiary shotgun as a gadget an it shows its unlocked, buy selecting it just makes the sound an doesn't show up as selected so I cant progress to the rest of the assault challenges.

Tried restarting the game, repairing the files an nothing. Its been like this since yesterday.
